Certificate Requirements: Fall-2006 or Earlier
If
your first TESL Certificate class was completed before Fall-2006 (but no
earlier than seven years before this current quarter) you may choose to fulfill
your TESL Certificate requirements using either
the pre-Fall-2006 program rules or the current
program rules. You may not pick and choose among them. If you are eligible to choose a pre-Fall-2006 program option,
please see your adviser to select appropriate courses.

Rationale:

literature requirement is intended to provide TESL Certificate students with ESL/EFL
reading materials from which to draw as they are teaching their courses. Working teachers are often asked to choose
