Focuses on providing basic English instruction to adults in a community setting. Students will teach two
evenings a week for eight weeks at various community sites, such as apartment complexes, community
centers, and local high schools. Daytime placements may be available through the IELP Practicum.
Offered as a collaborative effort among many organizations including
Portland State University's IELP, Portland Community College, the Leaders Roundtable, the Urban League, Oregon Council
for Hispanic Advancement, and other Community Partners.
